HT: Compass Direct - Full story

Recently I was writing a prayer for a friend of mine because I read this story about another city counsel that is being bullied by a bunch of atheists who do not want them opening their meetings with prayer in Jesus name. This is becoming more and more common and I have to be honest, when I read the story I thought to myself, "what a bunch of wimps", and I thought that because every day I read stories of courage and stories of torture and stories of faith from persecuted Christians around the world, and so it really bothered me.

Compass Direct is reporting today that a kidnapped Christian doctor has been freed after spending 29 days being tortured by his Islamic kidnappers. Please remember this dear man and his family in your prayers. Say a prayer right now so you do not forget. Thank you.

I am thrilled to let you all know that late last night the decision about whether or not principal Frank Lay and athletic director Robert Freeman had to go to jail and/or pay fines for praying for their food. The court ruled in their favor saying they did not intentionally violate a school court order to pray.
