Zahid was a Pakistani Muslim priest who ambushed Christians and burned their Bibles. Once he kept one of the Bibles and started studying it to prove that Christianity was a lie.

This story is from our friends at Compass Direct and it breaks my heart. Can you imagine being shot for just having bibles and for leading and underground Christian movement? Sadly, this is what happened to this woman. Read how it happened. Please pray for the church and loved ones remaining who were not killed.

Last night Glenn Penner's wife, Denita, updated their blog about Glenn's health. She thanks everyone for their prayers, and goes on to write that Glenn will have some x-rays today and also that the doctors will be giving Glenn antibiotics intravenously. If they can get some home care to take care of Glenn and do this at their home, he will be home hopefully by the end of the week.
