One place you can always go to hear about the persecution of Christians and the work of The Voice of the Martyrs is to Janet Parshall's radio program called Janet Parshall's America.

One of the most famous sayings in the Holy Bible is found in Matthew 5:10, "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

One of my blog buddies, Hal Paxton, who follows the persecuted church at his blog The Great Separation, tipped me off to this following story that included Voice of the Martyrs.

Yesterday I mentioned a testimony from this great book Tortured for Christ. Today I wanted to share with you another very important piece of information concerning the title of the ministry of The Voice of the Martyrs.

In order to begin to get an understanding of how Voice of the Martyrs came to be, I have to introduce you to the Founder of VOM, Richard & Sabina Wurmbrand.

Not to long ago I was privileged to meet up with some people who worked for the Voice of the Martyrs booth at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Anaheim, California. The picture to the left is a picture of their booth and you can see that the words that stand out say, "Get Involved" - this is what the underlying purpose of VOM is all about.

This is an exciting new day for sharing one of the most under reported and most important issues facing the world today - Christian persecution.
