The Herald Sun has a very interesting article today called Informer faces deportation. I find this article interesting because it's about a Whistleblower named Leonard Peter who helped break up some "people smuggling rings".

Can you imagine having an anti-conversion law in America? The reason I ask is because there are many nations where Christians are persecuted because of that very thing. And it never ceases to amaze me the amount of religious freedom we have in America compared to the rest of the world.

A few months ago Terry Ratzmann went into a Wisconsin church and murdered the pastor and a few others in the congregation in pure blood. Then Ratzmann took his own life by shooting himself in the head.

This isn't a story on persecution per se', but it caught my eye because it involved bringing harm to a group of people that attend this church. And unfortunately this isn't the first story I've heard where a church has been stolen from. Sad...and I wonder if the people or person who stole these things ever read the Ten Commandments...thou shall not steal...

Freedom in Christ is one of the most wonderful things any human being can experience which is why I believe the underground Church in China is now said to be larger than those who follow state mandated Communism.

Saturday the beloved Vice President of Sudan died in an unexpected helicopter crash and now Christians in Sudan are praying for peace to reign in this predominantly Muslim nation after a series of riots on Monday.

This morning as I was reading through my favorite devotional I came across this quote that I thought was so good that I wanted to share it with you all in the hope that it encourages you as you are persecuted and going through your trials.
