Today the radio program Focus on the Family aired an interview with Brother Andrew from Open Doors. They discuss the International Day of Prayer and share Brother Andrew's testimony.

This Sunday, November 13th is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and I am totally excited because this is such an important opportunity for the church capital C.

Sadly today the Catholic World News website is reporting more violence towards Christians in Indonesia. I urge you to please remember this region in your prayers. Here's the story...

This week we are going to focus on getting you ready for the big event this Sunday. In case you forgot, this Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and there are a whole lot of ministries and churches that are taking part.

I wanted to start the week out by thanking all of you for leaving me comments last week. As you know I hit hard the tragedy of the three girls who were brutally beheaded in Indonesia and I posted one picture to show you how serious Christian persecution is.

As you all know by now every week I share prayer requests that VOM sends to those who sign up for them. This week we have a lot to pray for, and especially on my heart personally, is prayer for those parents who lost their daughters this past week.
