This weekend, one of my favorite television shows, The Coral Ridge Hour, will be highlighting The Voice of the Martyrs and the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. The feature will take place during the last 15 minutes of the broadcast or you can watch it online Sunday. Check your local listings for times. The show airs on both Saturday and Sunday.

I don't mean send an email or call someone on the phone, I mean sitting down with an old fashioned pen and paper and letting your best handwriting pour forth to a loved one somewhere not close to you. I have the best husband in the world because every single week, without fail, he sends me a card in the mail and it is always hand written inside. In fact, that is one of the things I treasure the most about my 16 years with him - from the very beginning of our relationship while we were dating he sent me cards with his love notes written inside.

As most of you know yesterday was election day here in America. So as a good patriotic American I went to the polls and voted. When I arrived at my polling place there were 6 volunteers behind their tables just waiting for someone to show up. Then I arrived...

November 12th is right around the corner and as we get ready to participate in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church I just had to tell you about a ministry that is helping Christians join together in prayer through the use of their teleconferencing ministry. I think this is an AWESOME idea.
