I don't mean send an email or call someone on the phone, I mean sitting down with an old fashioned pen and paper and letting your best handwriting pour forth to a loved one somewhere not close to you. I have the best husband in the world because every single week, without fail, he sends me a card in the mail and it is always hand written inside. In fact, that is one of the things I treasure the most about my 16 years with him - from the very beginning of our relationship while we were dating he sent me cards with his love notes written inside.

November 12th is right around the corner and as we get ready to participate in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church I just had to tell you about a ministry that is helping Christians join together in prayer through the use of their teleconferencing ministry. I think this is an AWESOME idea.

Friday we shared with you that Helen Berhane was released from prison after serving two years. VOM Canada's Glenn Penner weighs in on this issue on his blog. And I wanted to share with you what he knows about the situation. Here's what Glenn says...
