HI Everyone,

Have you noticed in the last few days that there has been virtually no coverage about those Baptist church fires that were intentionally set by arsonists? I have and I will remain vigilant about whether or not the press decides if they want to print more about this situation. I can't imagine that there isn't some sort of personal story they can't glean from all those misplaced church attenders and pastors.

Prisoner Alert has been updated for the month of February, so now is the time to get those pens out and write a love letter to this precious saint.

I wrote about this story a few days ago when Todd was interviewed on Janet Parshall's America, but today I wanted to give you a little more information. This story really touches my heart because I can't even imagine being a Sunday School teacher in America and having this happen. I want to ask you to continue to pray for these precious women and not only ask the Lord to comfort them, but to use them mightily for His kingdom while in prison.

Last week John Piper posted an interesting article about the difference between Christ and Mohammed. It is well worth reading as he points out one of the great differences between Christianity and Islam: "The work of Mohammed is based on being honored and the work of Christ is based on being insulted."

Last week I received two different emails concerning the rise of persecution in India. One email was from my buddy Pastor John who blogs at The Sheeps Crib and the other was from Gospel for Asia.

This past Saturday another fire that investigators believe to be arson was set to another Baptist Church in Alabama. What I find interesting about this whole string of arsons, ten in all, is that there has been virtually no outrage from the Church.
