As we all know Pakistan has been hit with the greatest flood they have ever seen in recent days. As a result, millions of people are in dire need, and it seems that some aid isn’t coming in fast enough to help.

Our friends at Compass Direct are reporting on another arrest in Tanzania. In this case it's an evangelist by the name of Peter Masanja, who was arrested sometime early in August because he invited other Christians to his house. As a result, area Muslims interpreted this as him establishing a church. Read the full story here.

Pakistan has been pummeled by its worst monsoon floods in 102 years. And the rains continue in Northwestern Pakistan, adding to the existing problems. More than 20 million Pakistanis have been affected by the flooding that began three weeks ago, and 7 million have lost their homes. Tens of thousands of villages are under water, roads and bridges have been washed away and diseases are spreading throughout the flood area. According to news reports, many of the flood victims have not yet received any sort of relief.

You may remember that saying, if you're a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you of being one? Sobering question. Even more sobering, some of us go for days, weeks and even years without sharing our relationship with Christ, and/or even admitting that we are a Christian.

I am very happy to let you all know today that Compass Direct is reporting that Hani Nazeer, a Coptic Christian blogger, has been released from jail, after spending two years incarcerated for being accused falsely of "insulting Islam".

The Christian Post is reporting that International Christian Concern is saying that four Christian orphanage workers were beheaded recently in Somalia.

Last week our friends at China Aid released a press release concerning Pastor Wang Dao who was recently interrogated and then released pending a trial. Why was Pastor Dao arrested in the first place - he was leading worship. Please pray for Pastor Dao as he awaits trial, that he would stand firm in his faith.
