Hebrews 11:36-38 - Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned[a]; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.
As we think about this time of Ramadan for followers of Islam, let us also remember the pleas of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living under the rule of Islamic governments and who are being persecuted daily because they are followers of Jesus.
Please pray for Somalian Christians today as you also remember the Muslims in your prayers. The Christian Post is reporting that during the time of Ramadan, Christians persecution increases. Pray that the Christians would not seek revenge and that they could manifest the love of Christ to their persecutors. Pray that they may stand firm and that the Lord will use them to win souls to Christ.
