Did you know that even though China is known for printing tons of bibles, that the bible is not sold in bookstores in China.

Mr. K is the current speaker for our conference. He is a defector from North Korea and now lives in South Korea.

During tonight's conference session we watched as a scale model of the balloons that VOM is launching into North Korea was launched. These balloons are very large, and each one carries 10,000 gospel tracts printed on weather-proof plastic material. These balloons are set to release their payload gradually, to spread the gospel message across the most area possible in North Korea. VOM cooperates with North Korean defectors in this project; people who long to see the gospel and freedom come to their homeland.

"Pray that believers become bold. Pray that we all know why we are still here (to bring others to Christ)."

Now we have a panel answering questions submitted by conference attendees.

"You have to believe in miracles to work in the Middle East."

Our current speaker, who needs to remain anonymous due to security purposes, just shared with us that in Algeria one Muslim is coming to Christ every seven minutes.

Here at the Chain Reaction Conference we have a few breaks between speakers. So one of the things I've been doing is on the spot interviews with some of the speakers and visitors.

Simultaneous with the National Mission Conference for adults, the Kids of Courage conference is also going this weekend at OWU. Children ages 5-12 are being impacted by the courage of persecuted Christians, including meeting face to face with brothers and sisters from around the world who have faced persecution and maintained their faith.

The current speaker has documented numerous acts of persecution and violence against Christians by the state police.
