The last few months we have told you a lot about the growing persecution in India, and so I hope you're continuing to pray for India and the Christians there who are serving the Lord faithfully, even though they are under persecution.

In May 2008, Nguyen Van Dai, a Vietnamese Protestant church leader and lawyer, was sentenced to five years in prison and followed by four years of house arrest. Nguyen was accused of a wide range of crimes, including “conspiring with terrorists, in their efforts to promote human rights efforts, including religious rights and democracy.” He was also accused of compiling “evidence of Vietnam’s suppression of the Protestant religion and providing it to the U.S.-based Committee for Religious Freedom in Vietnam and the U.S. embassy.”

As I stated in my previous post, I really don't like the subject of beheading and the following comment is one reason why.

I really don't like the subject of beheading. However, when you talk about persecution, inevitably the subject is going to come up. In fact, to this day, the number one post on this blog is the one where I put a few pictures of someone who had been beheaded. And honestly, it grosses me out that people actually search for pictures on beheading, but believe me IT'S TRUE, they do.

I have, and that could be simply because I always have a lot to talk about, I'm a firstborn, am aware and love to teach people. Hearing that SHHHHH sound is annoying to me, to be honest with you.
