Since it is Monday, I wanted to share with you this beautiful entry from the book Extreme Devotion. I love this story because it reminds me that there is always hope when we are praying for someone who is hostile towards Christ, and it also reminds me what can happen when that soul finds Him. I love to share my faith and believe it or not, one of the easiest ways I've found to share my faith is by talking about persecuted Christians. I'm not sure why, but God opens up great conversations when I bring up the subject. Maybe it's because even if a person isn't yet a follower of Christ Jesus, they understand that many people are suffering in poverty, in countries that are unjust or oppressive and they genuinely care about people.

As you know, we've been covering the churches in East Texas that have been the victim of arson, and today we wanted to highlight a story from Compass Direct about some church burnings that have taken place in Nigeria. Sadly, unlike here in America, the police don't seem to be too concerned about finding out who burned the churches. Here's more from the story.
