International (MNN) ? There has been a perceived bias against Christians in the media in the western world, but now it's more than perceived. According to the Christian Institute in the United Kingdom, the head of the BBC, Mark Thompson, says the company would never mock Mohammed like it mocks Jesus.

Witnesses falsely testified against him. “We heard him cursing Moses and God. This man talks nonstop against God’s law. We even heard him say that Jesus of Nazareth would tear this place down and throw out all the customs Moses gave us.”

This week we have some praises and prayer requests that you can share easily with your friends, family and church members. We rejoice that Li Ying has been set free from her prison sentence and we pray for God's hand of blessing to be on her. We also pray for Pastor Youcef, Asia Bibi, Gao and others who remain in prison.

A religion law adopted last October has been used to revoke registration from religious groups of fewer than 50 adults, and small churches are now struggling to maintain legal status. In the past, authorities fined those who met without registration, but the new religion law officially bans all unregistered religious activity. The number of religious groups in Kazakhstan has declined 13 percent, from 4,551to 3,972, since the government began enforcing the stricter regulations. A complementary law increased penalties for religious offences.

Fox News is reporting this morning that Congress has passed unanimously House Resolution 556 which is a resolution which condemns Iran's government for sentencing Pastor Youcef to death.
