Christians in Tanzania have lost churches, homes, cars and livestock in a series of recent attacks, and some have received physical injuries. In the most recent attack, Muslims returning from worship at a mosque on Friday, Oct. 12, burned a car belonging to Bishop Muhiche of the Tanzania Assemblies of God church. After burning his car, the extremists moved on to destroy the pastor’s church.

One of the nations where Christians are being persecuted mercilessly is Nigeria. I have had a burden for Nigeria ever since I started to hear about all the Christians being killed by Boko Haram. We've covered much of that persecution here on the blog.

I have been called the “Voice of the Underground Church.” I do not feel worthy to be the voice of such an honored part of the Body of Christ.

Indonesia (MNN) ? In the last week, authorities in Indonesia's Aceh province shut the doors of nine registered churches and six Buddhist temples, reports Morning Star News, an Indonesian paper.

On one hand this is not shocking given what we know about the Muslim Brotherhood. On the other hand, this is very concerning to me and many others who are watching what has been happening in Egypt to Christians in Egypt. Please remember Coptic Christians in your prayers today and don't forget that we are part of the body of Christ, so when our family suffers, we suffer. Your prayers do matter and are needed.
