One of the great things about having a blog designed specifically for focusing on the persecuted church is that we will soon be doing some podcasts with some of the people who work at Voice of the Martyrs.

I've missed you! I wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten about you or the news we are following with the persecuted church, but I've been swamped this week and haven't had as much time as normal.

I love stories like this because it offers hope to those who are being persecuted from other countries. Here are a few quotes about why this Russian family moved to America.

When I read an article about a Pastor who likes to take a courageous stand for Truth, I love to tell everyone, because I think it's pretty rare. Today I came across this article and thought it was interesting, especially in light of the on going discussion regarding Islam as a religion of peace.

Recently two more churches were closed in Indonesia. The reason they were closed is because of the pressure from the extreme Muslim group, Islamic Defenders Front.

Last week Robert Spencer wrote a column for Human Events which discusses a new book by Tony Blankley called The West's Last Chance. In the article Spencer notes that the potential for the American government to embrace sharia law in America is possible in the coming years.
