Today there is an article questioning why the West is relatively silent on the persecution going on in Orrisa. Well, I can tell you that The Voice of the Martyrs hasn't been silent about the issue, as we have reported about this on this blog, however, I'd agree that most of the mainstream media basically ignores Christian persecution.

In recent weeks I have been thinking and pondering Christ’s command that we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves. I cannot pinpoint one incident that triggered my thought process, but I believe the Holy Spirit impressed it on my heart for a reason. Among other things, I have been thinking of the importance and value in loving nonbelievers into the kingdom of God and how showing them the love of Christ can sometimes make them more receptive to hearing the gospel.

Perhaps you would dream of stopping by Bangladesh and talking to the director of a secret camp for persecuted Christians. Would you think about stopping by Colombia, too, and talking to a Christian who witnesses to terrorists in the jungle?
