The Washington Post is reporting that President Bush is visiting his visit in Beijing, China today.

Last night there was a great interview with Todd Nettleton and Bob Fu regarding the persecution in China and what exactly the Olympics have in store this year.

It will only take a few minutes, and imagine how you can impact the world by bringing China before our all-powerful God.

In recent weeks I have been praying and thinking about our brothers and sisters in China who are facing increased persecution as the Olympics get closer. When I watch the main stream media coverage of the final preparations for the Olympics, the news reports are dominated with stories about pollution, whether Beijing is ready for the athletes and tourists and the “fascinating” historical sights of China. I cannot help but prayerfully wish there were some stories about our courageous Christian brothers and sisters who are increasingly persecuted by the Chinese Communist government because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Many people of faith are being persecuted in China, and not just Christians. China is notorious for persecuting the Falun Gong sect and there are people who are very angry at this - understandably. Persecution of anyone is wrong.
