As I write this, I am confident that my brothers and sisters in India are still undergoing severe persecution, which is why we may never cease to pray for India. Today our friends at AsiaNews.it have published a story from the widow of slain Christian Graham Staines.

A few days ago I wrote a post called Be Raped or Convert in which I wanted to help bring you all closer to the personal suffering some women go through as a result of their faith in Jesus Christ. Sadly, today we have this story from Compass Direct today, which tells us their story of persecution, including rape.

You may remember a few days ago I mentioned that we need to keep both the Israeli's and citizens of Gaza in prayer, and especially ask the Lord to protect and be with the Christians that are under fire there. Thankfully, today I have an update for you. This is from Christianity Today's blog. And if you click over there you can read two lengthy comments from people on the scene.

In Communist Romania, churches were closed and pastors arrested as part of a seven-year drive to “eliminate the nations of all superstition.”

It has been a long time since I have mentioned our weekly prayer news email. And since I know you all pray, this is a great way to keep up with the most current needs of the persecuted church.
