The updated Web site features information and resources that enable believers to get involved and support persecuted believers around the world. The Newsroom provides the latest persecution stories from around the world and audio and video clips showing courageous Christians living for Christ. Visitors to the site can also access information about VOM meetings, VOM Bookstore and other ministry resources. One of the enhancements to the site is that users are no longer required to log in to view all of the information on the site. All information is available to all users.

Last night I received word that there is a new Free Gao video that has been produced. At the time of this writing, I do not have access to the code to place the video here, however, if you click here you can watch the full video - and I HIGHLY encourage you to do so.

As many of you who read this blog daily know, we have been trying to get the word out about Gao Zhisheng who has now been imprisoned in China for 96 days simply for being a Christian. We have asked you for weeks to sign the Free Gao petition that we have set up, along with our friends at The China Aid Association at http://www.freegao.com and today I am happy to share with you that the New York Times has also written a piece about the situation with Gao and his family. The article is titled How the Family of a Dissident Fled China , and once you read it, I believe you will be moved to continue to pray for Gao and his family.

Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things." - So let's do that right now, because we are so honored that the Evangelical Press Association has honored The Voice of the Martyrs with an Award of Excellence for our monthly newsletter.

It has been a few days since I've updated you on what is happening with Gao. I've been working on a video, but ran into some snags, so maybe I'll have that up in a week or so...we'll see.

This is an amazing story because even though this Christian is completely innocent, he is in jail. But get this, his lawyer is a Muslim who is defending him, and he is coming under fire as well. Read the full article and then pray for all involved.
