Yesterday I was having lunch with a dear godly woman at my church, and she was sharing with me that the death of her son was one way that God showed her His love. Which as you know, is not the typical response from someone who lost their son to a brutal murder, like she had. Well, in reading today's Extreme Devotion, I can see how my friend and this precious saint in this story, truly have learned to seek God more earnestly...have you?

Lately Gao Zhisheng has really been on my heart, so today when I found this story I wanted to share it with you. Apparently, it is now being reported that Gao "is where he should be" and "not missing". To my knowledge, VOM has not yet verified this report as is being reported by the Associated Press.

Our friends at Compass Direct are reporting on an Algerian Church that is continuing to worship the Lord despite the persecution they are under from the Muslims who set their church on fire. Here's part of the story:
