Should we be surprised that such a thing occurs in a country where naming the name of Christ Jesus puts one at risk? No, indeed we know and are told by Jesus to expect such things and we should count the cost.

The prayer police strike again! This time the target is prayers before football games at Soddy-Daisy High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Freedom from Religion Foundation sent a letter to the school on behalf of some of the students of the school, that have an issue with the prayers being said over the schools loud speakers at football games.

We cover a lot of persecution toward the Christian community from practitioners of Islam, but the great news is that so many Muslims are finding Christ and committing their ways to Him and fleeing Allah.

While most of us here in America take our decision to follow Christ with moderate interest, people who choose to follow Christ in other countries where there is persecution, really weigh the cost because it could cost them their very lives.
