The head of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turkmenistan announced in a speech on Feb. 2 that the government ban on religious literature for the Orthodox Church has been lifted, according to Forum 18 News. No other church group in the country has the same freedom. Religious publishing is allowed only with government approval, and very little is allowed.

Yesterday we shared with you the tragedy that took place last week in Arlington Texas, to Pastor Clint Dobson and his friend Judy Elliot, who is still recovering from the brutal beating she received.

Recently I had a little debate with a young Christian man at my church who attended a rally that The Council on American-Islamic Relations held to "stop hate" in a city near where I live. This young college student told me he went to this rally that CAIR promoted because he supported their cause. I tried to tell him that many believe that CAIR has terrorist ties and is a front group for terrorism. He didn't believe me. Then he went on to tell me that Islam didn't teach about lying or beating women and that it was a religion of peace.

Distant relative of Dr. James Dobson, Pastor Clint Dobson, was murdered recently when his assailant came into his church. The police aren't releasing details about how Pastor Dobson died, but they have said that his assistant survived a severe beating.
