Christians Are the Most Persecuted Group in the World Today

If you've been reading this blog for any length of time, then you're fully aware about the intensity, and the scope of Christian persecution in the world today. In an article I read today over at ZENIT, this is what they recognize...
"What the [report summary] demonstrates is that Christians are the most persecuted group in the world today," he said. "People are aware of an enormous number of human rights abuses throughout the globe, but they are not always aware of the denial of human rights to millions of Christians.
"The situation is worsening because it largely escapes media attention. We are suffering from a sort of 'religious correctness' which means that talking about the persecution of Christians is not acceptable to the secular media today, and sometimes they don't even believe the facts."
So let me pose this question to you who are reading this. Have you heard on your television or radio station, either secular or religious, the topic of Christian persecution being talked about.

I am SO glad you posted this.
About 2 weeks ago, NBC Nightly news did a segment about a Hindu temple in India, where there had been a mob stampede and some people died. However, when I checked their archives online, I could find no mention of the Christian persecutions in India nor of the deaths, etc.
So I sent them an email, asking if 1) they reported the story and I just missed it and 2) if they would give any consideration to reporting on it, given that 50,000 (is it still 50,000 or more now?) are in refugee camps.
No response.
I don't think anyone knows or cares to know -- and yes, it's reverse political correctness-- reverse discrimination AGAINST Christians. I believe we are coming to a point in history where even Christians in the USA will begin to be targeted. We must pray for God to strengthen us if this should happen. I don't think we're far off from it.
