Over the last few days as I have been reading and learning more about what's happening in Nigeria, I have to tell you all, that I can't stop telling people about what is happening. Earlier today I had interviewed Ann Buwalda, the Executive Director, of The Jubilee Campaign, about her work in Washington DC concerning religious freedom issues and in particular a petition she has on her website asking people to help us alert the State Department that Boko Haram is a terrorist group.

Nigeria (MNN) ? Each week, it seems there's a new report of Nigerian Christians slaughtered by the Boko Haram. But what happens to those who survive? Some women lose more than just a husband: they lose their livelihood.

We've been talking about the horrific Christian persecution taking place in Nigeria for quite some time. Today, our friends at Compass Direct, are reporting some of the latest happenings that are just heartbreaking.

The Islamic extremist group Boko Haram attacked two more Nigerian churches on Sunday, June 10, the second such attack in two weeks. A suicide car bomber killed two and injured 40 others in an attack on Christ’s Chosen Church of God in Plateau state, and gunmen killed at least two other Christians in an attack on a church in Borno state.

Extremists killed 19 Christians, including two professors, as they worshiped on the grounds of Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria, on Sunday, April 22. An additional 22 people were injured.
