I would like to take a moment to thank those of you who have mentioned the VOM Persecution Blog on your websites or blogs.

Voice of the Martyrs Australia has reported some good news concerning a Pakistan Christian Yousaf Masih, 60, who was arrested on June 28 from the Lalkurti area in Nowshera following an allegation that he had deliberately burnt pages of the Koran.

This news has just broke about 2 hours ago, as of the time of this posting.

This isn't a story on persecution per se', but it caught my eye because it involved bringing harm to a group of people that attend this church. And unfortunately this isn't the first story I've heard where a church has been stolen from. Sad...and I wonder if the people or person who stole these things ever read the Ten Commandments...thou shall not steal...

Freedom in Christ is one of the most wonderful things any human being can experience which is why I believe the underground Church in China is now said to be larger than those who follow state mandated Communism.

This morning as I was reading through my favorite devotional I came across this quote that I thought was so good that I wanted to share it with you all in the hope that it encourages you as you are persecuted and going through your trials.

North Korea talks continue...

Last week you may have noticed I didn't post anything on Friday, and the reason why was because I was attending the International Convention for Gideon's International that was held here in Anaheim, California.

This story is a few days old but it caught my attention because there are people who now want to swear on the Koran when taking their oath in court, as opposed to taking their oath by swearing on the Bible.
