Yesterday a friend shared this story with me right after it happened in Florida, so I had to share it with you, because it just shows that there are people, even in America, who take issue with religion. Please pray for the gunmen and also for the families of those who were murdered.

The Voice of the Martyrs has people on the ground in Nigeria assisting believers. VOM is providing medical assistance and other resources to those affected by the attacks. VOM has supported persecuted believers in Nigeria for more than 20 years. VOM also helps widows through the Family of Martyrs Fund and provides their children with free education. Lately Gao Zhisheng has really been on my heart, so today when I found this story I wanted to share it with you. Apparently, it is now being reported that Gao "is where he should be" and "not missing". To my knowledge, VOM has not yet verified this report as is being reported by the Associated Press.

If you're not in Texas, you may not be aware of a series of seven churches that have been set on fire in the last three weeks. So I wanted to let you know about this and ask for your prayers for the fire officials and police officials involved in investigating the cause of these fires. Thankfully no person has been injured.
