Today I wanted to bring to your attention one of our dear prisoners that we are supporting here at The Voice of the Martyrs.

One of the Voice of the Martyrs restricted nations is Ethiopia. Even though Ethiopia is about 65% Christian, that does not stop the Islamic terrorists from attacking and harming Christians.

Yesterday we shared with you the tragedy that took place last week in Arlington Texas, to Pastor Clint Dobson and his friend Judy Elliot, who is still recovering from the brutal beating she received.

Recently I had a little debate with a young Christian man at my church who attended a rally that The Council on American-Islamic Relations held to "stop hate" in a city near where I live. This young college student told me he went to this rally that CAIR promoted because he supported their cause. I tried to tell him that many believe that CAIR has terrorist ties and is a front group for terrorism. He didn't believe me. Then he went on to tell me that Islam didn't teach about lying or beating women and that it was a religion of peace.

Distant relative of Dr. James Dobson, Pastor Clint Dobson, was murdered recently when his assailant came into his church. The police aren't releasing details about how Pastor Dobson died, but they have said that his assistant survived a severe beating.

Pakistan’s only Christian cabinet member, Shahbaz Bhatti, was assassinated by gunmen on March 2, 2011. Shahbaz, a member of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party, ardently advocated reforming Pakistan’s blasphemy law, which is often used against Christians. He is the second politician killed for criticizing the blasphemy law and calling for the release of convicted Christian Asia Bibi. The governor of Punjab province, Salman Taseer, was killed on Jan. 4 after he publicly spoke out against the law.
