The great separation between those who love life and those who worship death continues. The Associated Press is reporting that another Christian in Pakistan is sentenced to death for insulting Islam's prophet Muhammed.

Over the long weekend, I took some time to watch VOM’s newest film, Underground Reality: Vietnam. For those of you who haven’t heard anything about this film, the premise is that VOM took eight teenagers overseas to meet with persecuted Christians in Vietnam. The kid’s activities and reactions throughout the entire trip were filmed and then edited down to four 30 minute episodes. The resulting product is the most touching “reality show” I have ever seen.

One of the moral issues persecuted Christians are faced with is lying to protect themselves or church members. Most likely, many don’t think about it before they are forced into a situation where they must choose. The situation might be as dramatic as being in front of the police or a government official in India (where they have anti-conversion laws) and being asked if you are a Christian. Or it might be more subtle, like a young Muslim man who is asked by his family why he no longer participates in daily prayers after the Holy Spirit has revealed to him the truth of the Bible.
