If you've followed VOM for any length of time, you might have seen reports about a children's home in Nigeria. The Stephen Centre, run by a VOM partner, is home to more than 300 "Nigerian Special Children."

Nigeria (MNN) ? A decade ago, Christians in Nigeria worried about persecution on an annual basis, says Voice of the Martyrs USA. But in 2012, they're being attacked nearly every week. Even the simple act of attending church on a Sunday puts a believer at risk.

As you know, we've been covering a lot of what has been taking place in Nigeria with all the persecution of Christians taking place there, which is why this time of the year is a great time of the year to remember the children of martyrs in Nigeria, as well as everyone who has been enduring the persecution there.

As you know, the persecution happening there seems to be unending and it's intensity and has impacted thousands of Nigerian Christians. Pray for their protection and safety. Please also pray for the members of Boko Haram and others who are persecuting them.

One of the nations where Christians are being persecuted mercilessly is Nigeria. I have had a burden for Nigeria ever since I started to hear about all the Christians being killed by Boko Haram. We've covered much of that persecution here on the blog.

The last few days we've been sharing some of what's been happening in Nigeria and to be honest with you all, I personally cannot stop thinking about the Christians in Northern Nigeria because of all the persecution they are living under. Boko Haram is on a rampage and they want to wipe out every Christian they can find.
