There is a provacative news release put out today by the Christian Defense Coalition that says that, "Their Blood Will Be On Our Hands" if Congress does a premature withdrawal of American troops in Iraq. If that happened it would lead to the persecution, torture and genocide of religious minorities in that country.

If you've been reading our blog for the last few weeks then you know that there has been some controversy about how the South Koreans were released from the terrorist Taliban. Today Compass Direct released the following story concerning some new controversy.

CBNNews has an interesting story today about the persecution of Messianic Jews in Israel. When I traveled to Israel in May, one day of touring I had a Jewish tour guide, who told us, without hesitation that Jews who believed in Jesus were not really Jews and also that they were the most dangerous people in Israel. And I have to tell you that I was stunned because here this woman was hosting a bus full of Christians and some of us could've been Jewish for all she knew.

Even though it's a Saturday night, I just had to blog about this news article I just read in the Washington Post concerning the release of the South Korean hostages. But first, let me preface this post with the old saying, "No good deed goes unpunished." Let us all remember the reason these Christian missionaries went into Afghanistan in the first place, was to HELP those in need that the Afghanstan government couldn't.

The great news today is that the Taliban has released the final three hostages they have been holding captive for the last six weeks. I've linked below some of the news agencies and their coverage of the story.

Sometimes it never ceases to amaze me the misinformation and hate against Christians and Christian organizations like The Voice of the Marytrs. We truly do live in the days when good is called evil, and evil is called good.
