It has been a very busy day for me today, so I apologize for the late night posting, but before I went to bed I wanted to share with you this very encouraging story I found on CBN.com.

Randall Murphree writes a great article called When Persecution Persists: How American Christians Can Help . One of the most encouraging parts of the article is when Murphree describes how not all Christians are persecuted in China.

A few weeks ago I was reading through the book of Daniel and when I got to chapter 6 I was amazed to see how the governors and commissioners began trying to find a way to accuse Daniel in regard to goverment affairs. The good news is that they couldn't, the interesting news is that they decided to go after Daniel spiritually by setting up a secular law that would require he violate his obedience to God.

One of the easiest ways to minister to someone who is a genuine martyr is to pray for them and also to write them a note of encouragement. And I am so happy to tell you about one of my favorite ministries within the ministry of VOM - it's their Prisoner Alert.

Have you ever had a garage sale? I think everyone at some time in their life, especially if you live in America, has at a the very least driven by one. I used to get dragged to garage sales pretty routinely as a child. My mother would drag me kicking and screaming (not quite screaming...) almost every Saturday and believe it or not, she found a lot of my clothes there. Not to long ago I was privileged to meet up with some people who worked for the Voice of the Martyrs booth at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Anaheim, California. The picture to the left is a picture of their booth and you can see that the words that stand out say, "Get Involved" - this is what the underlying purpose of VOM is all about.
