Pray for Persecuted Ministry Leader Arrested for Quoting Scripture on Homosexuality

Precious ones, we have a lot to pray about this week. So I would like to encourage you to print these posts up and pray over them. Remember that the Lord does hear our prayers, and even though we may never see the answers ourselves to our cries for mercy, justice and help for the persecuted, we can know that God does not lie, and that He is answering us!

Muslims Can’t Stop Persecuted Christians from Worshipping

Have you ever wondered what would cause you to stop worshipping the one true Living God? I have to admit that there have been times in my life when I have felt so angry at God that I didn't feel like worshipping Him, and even thought about throwing in my faith all together. In fact, there was one time I was so mad that I even ripped up my bible, threw it across the room, kicked it and then jumped up and down on it. I was really angry at God for things out of my control, and yet what I've learned after all of these years is that our faith, thankfully, isn't based in our feelings because if it was, who could stand. It would be very difficult.

Church Burned Down in Indonesia

Voice of the Martyrs-Canada sources say a Muslim mob burned down the Indonesia Evangelical Mission Church building in the Singkil area of Aceh six nights ago. Word of a planned revival meeting spread amongst the radical Muslims in the community. The church is now meeting for worship in a local home. Earlier this year, the Indonesian province of Aceh became the first to institute and enforce Shariah law. Pray that the believers of this church will be steadfast in their service for the Lord.
