One of the many reasons I just love working with The Voice of the Martyrs, is that VOM offers so many tangible and easy ways to become involved with their ministry.

Vu that discusses how the Chinese government is open to Christianity because they see the success of the United States of America, but how they also want to contral Christianity. Interesting situation.

With all the news coming out of China in recent weeks concerning the crack downs and persecution of believers at Shouwang Church, it appears that even the Catholic Pope has taken notice, as now he is requesting that his followers pray for China.

Today there is a lot of news about China and how Christians are suffering under this communist government. Please pray for the President of The People's Republic of China, Hu JinTao.

Christians in Uzbekistan have faced increased persecution recently in the form of raids, literature confiscations, court-ordered literature destruction and heavy fines.

DENGI, Nigeria, May 16 (CDN) — Christians from a local Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) congregation in this Plateau state town have been displaced after Muslim extremists set their church building and some homes on fire last month. The Rev. Ishaku Danyok of the church told Compass that the April 29 incident occurred after Muslims approached Christian music shop owner Gabriel Kiwase and told him that his music was disturbing them as they said their prayers. The young Christian man “quietly switched off the music set, and then the Muslims left, only to return about 20 minutes later to burn down the music shop and then go on rampage, burning down houses belonging to some Christians in the town,” Danyok said. The pastor of the church of 85 members told Compass that their building, his own home and the property of five other Christians in the town were damaged in the hour-long attack.
