What If Your Pastor Told You To Listen to God in Order to Find Him on Sunday?

I've been thinking a lot today about how the church in America could get more motivated and gain a greater understanding of what the suffering church goes through.  So how about an underground church day for your church?

Imagine this, what if you had to solely rely on God to tell you where to go to church?  This really happens by the way.  I was reading a book the other day where I heard this story about how persecuted Christians were told by their pastor that they would have to hear from God personally in order to get to church, because the pastor and the church had been continually threatened by radicals who would disrupt the service.

So this pastor told his church to go and pray and ask the Lord where to go to church, because the bible teaches that the sheep hear his voice, and rather than the pastor telling people where to go, they would have to really rely on God to get them there.

Well, as it turns out, the whole church showed up and those who were disrupting the church didn't.

Can you imagine if we did that with our churches here in America?

I think it would be very telling also.  If your church were to have an underground church day and you were told by your pastor not to come to your normal building, but rather wait on the Lord to tell you where to go in secret...do you think you'd end up with your pastor and other members of your church?

Comment... I really want to hear what you have to say.
