VOM Groups Are Activating Christians for the Persecuted
I'm not sure about you, but I know that I sometimes have a tendency to forget my New Year's resolutions a few weeks after I make them. You may recall that I challenged all of us to make this year a great year in service to our persecuted family in Christ. Yet, here it is February and my question is...have you :)?
Well, I want to tell you about VOM Groups which has recently been kicked into high gear regarding how we all can get involved in ministering to and for our persecuted family in Christ.
This is a great site because you can actually interact directly with the staff of VOM and you can learn a lot of helpful information about how to serve the persecuted. For example, you can begin to comment on the message boards concerning the latest VOM Newsletter you receive. How many times have you read a VOM article and wanted to respond...well, now you can.
There is also a section where you can share your thoughts on the books you've read on the subject of persecution. Right now there are conversations about Tortured for Christ, Jesus Freaks, Heart of Fire and The Pastor's Wife.
And then there's also a section about Basic Fellowship where you can not only fellowship with likeminded believers, but you can do so around the Basic Fellowship where you can share activities that bless the persecuted church -promote prayer, local projects and other awareness activities -provide a place to exchange ideas and encourage each other.
So make good on your New Year's Resolution today by joining with me over at VOM Groups. It will take you literally ten seconds to sign up and then you can begin talking with the others who are already making a difference.
