The Pontiff Stands Up for Persecuted Christians

Have you ever wondered by Islam claims they are a religion of peace and then the Pope says Christianity is a religion of peace and yet they are warring against one another.  Can two religions of peace be at war...you know I'm asking a rhetorical question :)

VATICAN CITY, JAN. 8, 2009 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI says that Christianity is a religion of freedom and peace at the service of humanity, and defended those who are persecuted for their Christian faith.
