A few days ago I was discussing with my husband the importance of intellectual property and specifically quotes.  One of the reasons we all enjoy quotes is because generally they highlight the author of the quote and their thinking.

For example, when we hear, "Give me liberty or give me death!" we think of Patrick Henry.  When we hear, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" we're reminded of Jesus because he's the one who said it.  Quotes have power.
