Persecution Blog Carnival #12

Carnival_7This week we have a few entries for our carnival.  Take some time and savor each one of the entries and then please tell a friend.  I know these will bless you as you continue to grow in your love for the persecuted church.

Let's begin with Barb who writes at Tidbits & Treasures a post called Persecution of Christians and writes Christians will undergo persecution because the world hates us just as they hated the Lord.  Barb always writes with such a biblical emphasis and I think you'll appreciate how she integrates her post with scripture.

Our second entry is from Jan who writes at Counted Worthy a post called A Reasonable Christianity
which Jan describes this way..."A reasonable Christianity guards against the darkness of superstition, and encourages us to exercise our reason in consideration of others. It may be human nature to try to put together events in our minds and come to some conclusion about what may be happening in the spiritual realm that we cannot see, but we need to be very careful that our speculation doesn't attribute false motives and actions to our neighbors. This is exactly what can happen to Christians enduring persecution in other countries, where they are chased and run out of villages based solely on the speculations and superstitions of their hostile neighbors."

Jan always has some very meaty words to chew on - you'll definitely want to take a cup of coffee and go and read what Jan writes this week.  It's very long, but worth your time.

Our third entry is from Cindy who blogs at Inspirational Korner and this week she has titled her post Ultimate Persecution and provides her readers with a powerful video to watch which is about 5 minutes long.  It's a moving depiction of the crucifixion.  Be sure to check it out.

Our fourth offering comes from Jill who writes at Homelearnin and this week Jill took me up on my challenge to write about how doing a service with The Voice of the Martyr's has impacted her life. She writes about her experience sending an Action Pack.  Check it out here.

And I will leave you with the words of King David who cried out in Psalm 7:1, "O LORD my God, in You I take refuge and put my trust; save me from all those who pursue and persecute me, and deliver me..."  and the Lord will and does hear every cry from the heart who cries out to Him.

May your eyes be enlightened and your heart receive all the love the Lord has for you in the coming days.

Until next week much love and peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Stacy
