Nettleton Says to Pray for Hugo Chavez to Come to Christ

Our friends over at Mission Network News have interviewed The Voice of the Martyr's Todd Nettleton regarding Hugo Chavez and his leadership in Venezuela.  As you may all recall, Chavez was the one who essentially called the President of the United States the devil.

According to Nettleton, Chavez is gaining almost dictatorial powers in Venezuela and will most likely be able to stay in power as long as he wants.  Nettleton also said, Chavez forced a US based mission organization out of tribal areas last year which means that it's unclear what that will mean for Christians in Venezuela.

The Voice of the Martyrs does not do work in Venezuela at this time, however Nettleton requests that we all pray for President Chavez to come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.  Once this happens then we know that his heart will change and Christians will be safe.
