Iraqi Christians House Bombed
Imagine with me for a second that you and your family were sitting at home eating your meal when all of a sudden a group of men broke into your home and told you to raise your hands and get out of your house.
Then imagine with me that once you are booted out of your home, these same men put a bomb in your living room, and ten minutes later your house was blown up.
What do you think you would do?
What if it was because you were Christians? Now what would you do?
Sadly, this isn't a made up story or scenario. It happened in Iraq to some Iraqi Christians recently. Here's more of the article.
This story of violence against Christians is one of many to emerge over the past fortnight from Mosul, a flashpoint city in northern Iraq. At least 13 Christians have been killed in that period and fear of further attacks has prompted 1,200 families to flee to nearby villages, convents, monasteries and even farther afield to Iraq’s Kurdish region to the north or to Baghdad in the south.
