Grace Under Fire

The Jakarta Post is reporting today that the families and friends of the beheaded girls are asking for justice after the release of those arrested for the grisly killings.  Here are a few worthy quotes from the article...

"We ask security personnel to get serious about investigating the case," said the group's spokesman, David Malewa, whose younger sister Noviana Malewa survived the attack despite serious slash wounds.

"We are not going to take revenge and have already forgiven the people responsible for the deaths of our daughters and sisters. But can't the state give us a little justice?" he beseeched.

I am personally touched by the grace of these believers.  Their obedience to Scripture and ability to forgive those who murdered their daughters.  May we all follow their example.
