Ronald Reagan has been quoted as saying, "Trust, but verify". This is exactly the thought I have as I've been reading the news about Egypt's new President, Mohamed Morsi, who has now reportedly appointed a Christian as his Vice President.

Last week we asked you all to pray for the Coptic Christians in Egypt because of the elections that were taking place. Now the new president elect, Mohamed Morsi, has given his acceptance speech, and made promises to the Christians. Mission Network News has more details.

Some of you may have heard today that Egypt's ousted leader, Hosni Mubarak is on life support and some are saying that he is brain dead. This is happening at a time when Egypt is in the midst of an election that could make Coptic Christians living in Egypt be subjected to more Christian persecution from the government.
