I wanted to start the week out by thanking all of you for leaving me comments last week. As you know I hit hard the tragedy of the three girls who were brutally beheaded in Indonesia and I posted one picture to show you how serious Christian persecution is.

I posted earlier today about the three girls who were beheaded and for the last few hours I haven't been able to get them off my mind...especially since I viewed the pictures.

I'm always looking for ways to make this blog more beneficial to you. So today, I thought I'd throw out this question...

I am so happy to be back and writing to you. I had a great time at the very first GodBlogCon and I have to tell you that it was exciting to note that people are interested in reading and blogging about the Persecuted Church.

Before I get into some news stories of interest today, I wanted to thank those of you who commented for your comments and also continuing readership. I will do my best to respond soon to the individual comments directed at me.

I wanted to let you know that I will be back on Monday updating the blog. I'll be in a series of meetings, out of state, the next few days. So please keep coming back, leave us some comments and I'll see ya on Monday!

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice insisted Tuesday that human rights abuses in North Korea should be highlighted, ignoring the risk of angering the Stalinist regime which has delayed talks designed to end its nuclear weapons drive. This according to an article on Relief Web.

According to Janet Parshall's America website Todd Nettleton, the Director of News Services with Voice of the Martyrs will talk with Janet about the latest news concerning those who are giving the ultimate price for their Lord, namely their very lives.
