I was just getting ready to close down shop for the night and found out that my favorite radio host in the whole world is having Todd Nettleton on tomorrow afternoon to discuss Christian persecution.

Earlier this week I put forth a challenge to my persecution bloggers for this weeks carnival and I am very pleased with the entries I received as a result. If you submitted an entry that wasn't a part of the challenge, I will post that in next weeks carnival.

• On July 19th at 5:00 p.m. in the southern state of Kerala, rioters belonging to the Students Federation of India smashed and destroyed vehicles, computers, office equipment, furniture, doors and windows of Christian-run educational institutions.

Since we have been following some of the news concerning Pastor Rick Warren's opportunity to go to North Korea, I wanted to give you an update and let you know that his trip has been delayed, but his invite to preach there still remains.

In today's Mission Network News email we read the following concerning the unraveling war in the Middle East. Please consider time today to pray and if the Lord leads, also fast, for the situation in the Middle East.

Pastor Rick Warren has now officially confirmed that he will go to North Korea to preach the gospel. The Christian Post and a Yahoo news page are saying that Warren will be in North Korea on July 17th, "to meet with church and business leaders, despite the current standoff over recent missile firings by the isolated communist country."
