This weekend, one of my favorite television shows, The Coral Ridge Hour, will be highlighting The Voice of the Martyrs and the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. The feature will take place during the last 15 minutes of the broadcast or you can watch it online Sunday. Check your local listings for times. The show airs on both Saturday and Sunday.

This morning I was watching Good Morning America and Diane Sawyer was broadcasting live from North Korea. I was mesmerized by her broadcast because she was given some access to the North Korean people and was able to talk to them about what they thought of America. It was very fascinating.

Fr. Zakaria is a Coptic priest who was kicked out of his country because of his ministry to Muslims. His satellite television program, “Truth Talk,” challenges Muslims to examine their beliefs. His style is very confrontational and, consequently, angers many Muslims. In fact, it is believed that some of the riots that happened during Ramadan in Alexandria last year began because of his broadcasts.
