Christian Youth Camp Raided

China Aid is reporting that yesterday, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. police raided a Christian youth camp and arrested 28 Christian youth and four adult church workers in Hubin town, Tengzhou city, Shandong province. Police threatened and beat the Christian youth. Five Christians who organized the camp are still being held by police and have been given 5-15 days administrative detention. Please pray for the Christian youth whom ChinaAid sources say are still in a state of shock.

Churches bombed in Baghdad in Largest Assault Against Christians

Five churches were bombed around Baghdad in attacks that killed four people and injured another 12 on Sunday, indicating the potential renewal of Christian persecution in Iraq just days after the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraqi cities.The New York Times reported that the bombings on Sunday, “appeared to be one of the largest single coordinated assaults against churches and Christians in Baghdad.”
