Many people of faith are being persecuted in China, and not just Christians. China is notorious for persecuting the Falun Gong sect and there are people who are very angry at this - understandably. Persecution of anyone is wrong.

As you may imagine as the Olympics draws nearer the press is covering the happenings in China more. A few days ago you may have read the story about how the Chinese have decided to censor the Internet during the games. This action has outraged many - read the story here. Yesterday I read this article at the Huffington Post and it is something that I think you may be interested in reading. Keep in mind as you read it, that the Huffington Post is extremely liberal and they typically do not find in favor of Christians, this article doesn't either, however since it mentions The Voice of the Marytrs, I want you to check it out.

I'm not sure about you, but I am very concerned about the United States relationship with China especially since I know for a fact that China allows Christians to be persecuted in that country. My husband is so passionate about those abuses that he does his best to not buy anything made in China, even though at times, it can be very hard.
