We have mentioned numerous times on this blog how The Voice of the Martyrs t-shirts are a powerful witnessing tool to not only other Christians, but also to people who have yet to meet Jesus Christ.

This week my heart has been grieved as I have read the numerous reports about Asia Bibi who has been sentenced to death, by hanging, for blasphemy in Pakistan.

On Oct. 31, Islamic extremists attacked worshipers at the Syrian Catholic Church of Baghdad, killing 59 Christians and severely injuring more than 80 others, according to VOM sources.

Even while I was off and recovering, I was following this story because it is such a massive tragedy...on so many levels. First, Christians have been deliberately martyred and persecuted, and many killed. Second, those who did it also blew themselves up. Death upon death - I can hear Satan screaming with glee. It's a tragedy.

We cover a lot of persecution toward the Christian community from practitioners of Islam, but the great news is that so many Muslims are finding Christ and committing their ways to Him and fleeing Allah.

Some of the things our brothers and sisters in other nations endure for the name of Jesus, I find unbelievable. This is one story that is not only unsettling, but sadly is not all too uncommon.

This is a good news report that we all need to shout from the rooftops!! Praise the Lord for the Christians being acquitted in this four year long battle. Compass Direct is reporting the following. More here.
