Yesterday we shared with you the news Fox News reported about the horrible tragedy that took place over the weekend in Kenya. Today, our friends at Mission Network News have an update. Sadly, the death toll has increased to 18 and more than 60 were wounded, not the 40 we reported yesterday. Please pray for Kenya today.

Iranian officials recently closed one of only four remaining churches in Tehran that offered Farsi-language services. On June 5, the Revolutionary Guard’s intelligence branch ordered an Assemblies of God (AOG) church to cease all activities and threatened to confiscate church facilities if the church did not comply.

Members of the Shouwang house church continue to face harassment from Beijing authorities. Most recently, security officials denied the church’s student group access to two sports facilities in Beijing. The 1,000-plus members of the Shouwang Church have been meeting outdoors for 14 months, in protest against officials who have prevented them from purchasing or renting facilities for a worship space.

North Korea is a restricted nation and persecutes Christians constantly.
