If you're like me then you probably have a nickname because someone deems you a pretty special person, or you're into spy movies and like to go by code names so that no one will ever know who you are. Some of us actually do that for fun...and speaking of fun, if you ever want to get a reaction out of people when your cell phone rings, why not answer it "Agent _____" and whatever your name is. I digress...

The Christian Post reported on Friday about the increase in Muslim and Christian violence in Ethiopia. You may read the article here. I've cut a few excerpts for you below.

Every once in awhile I see prominent bloggers talking about things that we talk about all the time here on this blog. Yesterday I caught a post that Michelle Malkin wrote concerning Christian persecution in Indonesia. The story that Michelle has helped bring attention to concerns a Christian pastor who was assassinated recently.

Christian Today has a very powerful article today concerning the extent of persecution in the nation of Columbia. The article states that in Columbia there have been numerous pastors targeted for assassination, kidnappings, violent attacks during worship services including murders, death threats made against Christian youth and their families, as well as extortion in the Christian community.

The following news is not uncommon in most of the world. If you are an American Christian I want you to remember that for the most part, our nation does not persecute Christians. Most of the world does persecute Christians. Please read this story, and then let it inspire you to stand firm for Jesus and tell people the truth about salvation, sin and the future. You were called for such a time as this.
